Carbon offsets are being marketed to induhviduals
I don't even know how to think about this. What's your response? Should I ask for these for my birthday?

Maybe this could be the next bubble!! Manufacture value where none exists - and "save" the planet too!!
It's a scam. If you want to offset your carbon footprint, you've got to burn all your assets, or invest in nuclear.
So thanks, but I'll have to think of some other way to wish you happy birthday.
